well go figure..computer won't let me up load any images so let's see if i can update this darn blog..can't believe it has been a month since i have written anything...
this is our first year being without any family for the holidays..got thru thanksgiving..did a turkey breast in the crock pot..don't know that i would do that again..it was o.k. better the next day for sandwiches...just not the same not having family around to share with...
we have seen alot..met so many nice people..don't know that we will be back to tucson next year..doesn't do a whole lot for me?? the weather is nice..although the last few days have been crazy to say the least..rain, wind, thunder, lightening..even hail??? what is up with that??
went to mt. lemmon...cool rock formations on the drive up..only one shop open once we got to the mountain..had to have pie at the famous and only place open to eat..heard the pie was to die for..you bet..10 bucks a slice with ice cream..didn't even heat up the pie..rude waitress..not worth 10 bucks that's for sure..
went to parker...a little ghost town near our friends place outside chochise..they had a street fair..usually the town only has about 6 people live in it..the street fair was very cool...if only we had more room in our little trailer...
went to bisbee..artist town..once again a bunch of shops were closed but had fun in the ones that were open..
went to tubac...very cool little village..lots of shops
with the weather the way it has been lately been spending alot of time in the trailer..stan has been working on his eggs...i have been reading lots of books..vinnie hates the rain..doesn't like getting those little paws wet!!! the dog run has been a muddy mess and he misses his daily runs with all his buddies...hopefully tomorrow it will clear up and the sun will be out once again...craft fair and need to go spend some m0ney!!!!
hopefully i can get off my blog madness and keep this thing going...we will be here in tucson til march 19th then who knows what we will do...

Hey, Janet. Thanks for the update. You've given us some ideas of artist type towns to visit in Southern AZ. I think you guys are real troopers. I don't think it's easy doing what you're doing, especially with great friends and family you don't see. Hope the weather improves and you can "shake your cabin fever". Now, about Stan and his "eggs"! What's up with that??? Coop
the weather finally turned..no rain still colder than i expected here...can't have it all i guess...stan does ukrainian eggs..interesting stuff..i tried and can't master it...gives him something to do..
