sally and my hats we made for the kentucky derby...gave my hat to our waitress...she loved itO.K. been a month and we are still miserable with the great northwest weather...rain, clouds, cold...boy were we ever spoiled being in arizona where the nice weather was...learned our lesson..next year don't leave til the 1st of may...
spent the weekend with jason and diane and demitri..had such a good time..happy birthday diane!!!! good times had by all...demitri helped me learn poker...taught his grandpa stan how to play video games...had such a good time
stayed with darrell and sally last weekend...another good time..what good friends...been a couple years since we have seen them and seems like yesterday!!! went to the horsetrack...emerald downs...for the kentucky derby similcast...sally and i made hats...lots of laughs and good times
we have been staying with our good friends scott and ellen...they define the definition of friends for sure...we have had such a good time with them and don't know how we will ever repay them for the hospitality they have shown us...they both retire next friday...should be a good party...hopefully the sun will shine here one of these days ...don't quite know where or when we are heading out...will stay here at scott and ellen's while they take a much deserved holiday after retirement and watch their dogs...the very least we can do for such great people!!!
