travels...(cont.)

So we left casa grande sunday april 12th....stayed the 13th in needles, calif..desert view rv resort..nice place, 14th stayed in kingsburg, calif...riverbend rv..wouldn't recommend it...heard there was going to be a wind warning for the 14th starting at noon...thought we would beat it??? hahhahhhaa...ever traveled with a truck towing a trailer in a wind storm??? not fun..stan did a great job..white knuckling it from fresno to redding, calif....wouldn't want to do that again...40-50 mph winds..thought he was going to leave me in bakersfield...waiting for coop to write a country western song or put it in her book about that adventure...left me at the mcdonalds with a bag of burgers and some fries??? my imagination getting the best of me??? must have been the wind??? anyway stayed in redding the 15th & 16th..jgw rv resort..got a river site...the best...they were getting ready for a hotrod rally...would have been a hoot staying the weekend but no sites to be had!!! took off thursday morning the 16th 7:45 am...saw a accident on our way out?? 2 women going for a "walk" a 67 yr old women stepped in front of an oncoming vehicle got hit and died?? stan saw the women stretching getting ready for their walk before we took off...too scary and my goodness how in the blink of an eye your life can change...
made it to eugene, oregon the 16th to rain...oh the pacific northwest...vinnie hates, hates, hates, the rain...doesn't like to get those little paws wet!!!
left friday the 17th for our shortest drive..to wilsonville, oregon only about a 100 mile trip...pheasant ridge rv..really nice park...picked up our 2 grandson's to spend the nite...played farkle had some great laughs, swimming in the morning and shopping of course...they have both grown so much...jacob is turning into a young man...ryan is still our little clown...leaving sunday for the last of our driving to scott and ellen's in snohomish...miss arizona...
