Fortuna, calif. riverside rv park...checking this area out suppose to meet up with deb and phil anderson around the 4th of june in trinidad..rv park o.k. bit of a parking lot feel..cold and cool here alot like seattle weather..we will be here 5 nites..
drove around the area..trinidad is beautiful..drove to the sounds of the sea rv park where we have reservations with deb and phil...didn't like it..so canceled those..found a quaint spot to have a fabulous breakfast...nice casino outside fortuna..had a blast sunday nite won 700 bucks stan was next to me and boy did we have fun..drove to fort bragg..quite the ride thru the redwoods..didn't find any other sites we would like to stay in so talked it over with deb and phil and will meet up with them at topaz lake, nevada

back in redding at our favorite spot..jgw rv park..met a guy stan and i use to work with at gte george secor..i worked with his son jim and daughter-in-law brenda..had us over to there rv for snacks and yaking..was fun..will be here 2 nites

Sparks, nevada..marina rv park..nice park..astro turf at the sites..no grass..vinnie hated that..50 dollar fine if they catch your pet doing their business on the turf...will stay here 2 nites...spent a day in reno..not much has changed there..vinnie spent the day at day care 5 bucks..well worth it!! weather great

Minden, nevada...drove to topaz lake..the rv park was yucky so cancelled that one and found carson valley rv park..nice big site two together for meeting up with deb and phil tomorrow..can't wait..
Deb and phil pulled in sunday spent the day sitting around in the sun just catching up on all their travels...so good to see them
we drove to genoa to sit and have a cold one in the genoa bar nevada's oldest thirst parlor..est. 1853...great spot lots of history..original stuff still in the bar including..so they claim..rachel welches bra still hanging..black leopard print ..hanging on the antlers...really dusty..they have an old safe but tradition is if you open it you have to leave a clothing donation...needless to say we didn't open it..bought a t-shirt then on to tahoe...stopped at a bar on the beach..windy and bar ready to close..they directed us to sam's place for good food and drinks..the boys were right on!!! had a crazy waitress, great burgers..deb's fish taco's were excellent!!! good time had by all
we also drove with deb and phil to strawberry to meet up with some friends of theirs..james and cassy..the drive was great up almost 10,000 feet..nice weather and good times..one of our other adventures with deb and phil was going out to dinner with some other friends of theirs, they took us to a basque resturant..interesting..family style dining..more good times had by all..hated to leave deb and phil but they are on there way home and we are just starting ..hope to meet up with them again soon...

Hooking things up stan noticed we had a bald tire on the trailer so had to get that changed before we head out towards yosemite..said good bye to deb and phil with hopes of meeting up with them again on their way back to arizona come fall..
trip to yosemite..nice views..some of the lakes around remarkable...got to the park and yeah the scenery is beautiful..wouldn't recommend pulling a trailer thru this park..got a bit hairy in spots..brakes smokin again..scared me...decided not to go to the village..already 3:30 in the afternoon and need to find a place to park for the nite..stan isn't likin the brakes locking up want to get that checked..found a nice rv park about 30 miles out of the park..no one at the office so we followed the directions for late campers and found a spot to park..whew...thank goodness...decided not to unhook knowing we are only going to spend the nite..it is now about 7:30pm and we are exausted to say the least..stan outside with vinnie some yahoo comes by and tells us we are in the wrong spot in a premier spot and is 60 bucks a nite...don't think so..we decided stan heard him wrong and was 16 bucks a nite, we pulled out at 6am left them a nice note with a check for 16 bucks..stan feels he is now on the run and the cops are going to pull him over any time and demand the 44 bucks we owe..too funny

Fresno, calif..got the brakes checked at a really nice rv place..done by noon and on our way to koa 30 miles away..nice spot going to make reservations for Morro bay..heard that is a good place..we will see

Morro Dunes Travel trailer and resort campground...we have found a piece of heaven!!!!
this place is great we have site f-5 can see morro rock from our door..step across the street to the ocean..weather is perfect..we couldn't be happier will be here 4 nites
drove down to the marina..cute shops lots of places to eat..i got some shopping done while stan and vinnie stayed back at the trailer...new shoes and t-shirts..got home and got our stay extended 5 more nites..yipppeee!!!
drove to pismo beach, nice area..busy..took the hearst castle tour..what a site shouldn't be missed..drove to montery..that was a long drive
we have met two of the nicest ladies..coop and Irene their dog annie..what a couple of really nice people..hate to see them leave but will keep in touch
